Friendly Island Pharmacy was founded in 1988 by the White and Yellow Cross Foundation and has since then developed into a Full Service Pharmacy. Our goal is to take care of our client’s inner and outer well-being and as Health and Beauty specialists we offer a wide range of products to be able to do just that.
We carry a wide selection of prescription medication, OTC products, and health and beauty care products.
If we don’t have the product you are looking for we will try to order it for you upon request. Sint Maarten is a multi-cultural island and this can be seen within our team. Our multi-lingual staff is able to assist you in the following languages: English, Dutch, French, Creole, and Spanish.

Our goal is to take care of our client’s inner and outer well-being and as health and beauty specialists with a wide range of products, we are able to do just that. With the largest collection of European and American prescription medicines, vitamins, and over-the-counter medication on the island, our spacious interior design and layout make shopping comfortable and easy for all our visitors.
More importantly, it displays and operates in conformity with FDA requirements and the laws and regulations of Sint Maarten. We also carry an extensive line of Dutch, French, and US cosmetics, beauty aids, and other grooming items for outer health and beauty. We are therefore best suited to assist you.

OUR SERVICES
Senior Care
Some situations or groups within our society require a different approach or treatment. We provide a quality standard of service to skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities, and Continued Care Retirement Communities. We understand the challenge of ensuring that medications are administered efficiently to these residents and clients. This is made possible by our state-of-the-art Automated Dispensing System which allows the efficient and accurate dispensing of prescribed medication to our valued senior citizens.
Medication Safety
If we use painkillers as an example, some work better for different types of pain and some may not be appropriate for some people. Therefore we have painkillers that are available without a doctor’s prescription whereas others are only available with a prescription. We will give you customized advice depending on your age, health, and use of other medications. It is key that you give us an honest answer to the questions we will ask you. This allows us the better understand your circumstances and we can better customize the advice. We highlight the importance to follow the directions as given by your doctor and/or pharmacist regarding prescribed medication. Abiding by the direction given mitigates any safety risks while ensuring that the desired results are achieved.
Pet Medication
We not only fill out your prescriptions but those of your furry friends as well. We dispense medication prescribed by your pet’s vet at a cost as insurance does not cover animal medications.
First Aid Kit Refills
The supplies for your current first aid kit contents are also sold separately. Once the contents expire or need to be replaced we help you make the right choices. This removes the need to purchase an entirely new kit.
